Workshop: Mission and purpose: Reconciliation with one’s life-path
Human beings in their search for fulfillment inevitably ask themselves the timeless questions about existence: What is the purpose of life, what is my calling?
What is the sense of my suffering and the meaning of my difficult situations? The path for answering these questions leads one to a careful exploration of the self and of ones experiences. More often than not, we live in patterns and habits that prevent us to recognize and understand our path of life and the deeper meaning of our “lessons”. This leads to repression or a splitting off of inner potentialities by way of compensation mechanisms. The latter are presented and discussed in the workshop.
The process of becoming conscious and the healing of the difficult and dark experiences and the resulting compensation mechanisms are important aspects of our life tasks and point to our true purpose in life. On the healing path one becomes aware that out of suffering, weaknesses and difficulties one’s unique strengths can emerge, essential for one’s calling. Once we begin to activate our potential, be that on the basis of deficits or through the discovery and the fostering of talents, one can naturally pursue the path of reconciliation with one’s unique life’s path.
