Inner Violence. Psychology of Chaos

The main idea is a possible development of consciousness in relation with to healing beyond violence. Dr. M. Almendro develops those idea starting from a possible Sciences of the Living Being in relation with to Nonlinear Complex Systems opening to ongoing transformations with the environment. In order to do this, he explores the psychological theories that are starting to use the laws of chaos to explain the psyche, and he describes several studies based in on concepts like <<nonlinear processes>>, <<self-organization processes>>, etc.

The concept of <<Emergent Crisis>> defines the symptomatic emergence not at odds with mental health, and turns the concept of  “mental illness”  inside out, viewing it rather as an expression of  a) a process of differentiation from disorder to individuation, and  b) the positivation of the pathological.

Relying as on empirical examples from clinical practice, the author offers a new way to conceive the pathology through the dissipative routes of mental as well as behavioral processes. (Videos are showing during conference)

Manuel Almendro:
Reflexions about Eurotas Congress, Freiburg. Germany. September 2007.

1.If I understood well, first communications about this congress exposed “inner violence-outer violence” as the subject, and came to my memory the crude TV news of nowadays. Later appeared the subject “Forgiving and Reconciliation” as repairing what has been said and I thought ok¡ there is not place for forgiving if we don’t get before reconciliation. That is to say, we don’t get glory if previously we don’t have transformed suffering: cause-effect of violence, among others things. It is clear that if we get forgiving without transforming suffering we fall sleep into the new age dreaming.

2.After more of two decades in the transpersonal movement, mainly in the Spanish speaker context (That what is not in English language also exists) I perceive that into intellectual levels we even continuing discussing too much, now we know that mind flying has little friction and it beside carry in print our sign and prestige. And discussing continue, as per example: experience, yes or not; narcissism or samaritanism; to accept or rebel one self …and everything without the power of escaping from the western mercantile frame were reality is considered as profitable and mechanical matter. I have the idea that at this moment we are lashing out wildly. Now that most of our discussions were put on the table during the old Greece, nevertheless necessary bring up to date because the necessary present: the territory. Knowing that essence of it is the uncaused experience.

Probably forgiving is nothing without the mystical of shadow, the climbing to the Monte Carmelo: Teresa, Juan, Jacob… that moving us so much. Knowledge without heart never will arrive to wisdom. Mask is the most terrible shadow. An definitely one self give thanks to the shadow (we must remember that the obstacle is the ) the fact that consciousness wait into matter (Aurobindo). In case that we don’t discharge our “inner violence” on genealogical elements or on any closer people or …. on any thing. We don’t have why to fall into desperation. An old Amazon shaman never finished to tell me: “Manuel¡ in this life we only have two different kinds of people, one of them is only seeds and the other ones are only fertilizers”.

Always is possible to deal a masterful dance on top of our own tomb, sorry!...over our own ego.
